Eotech has been long known for their superb optics, and the 552 is no exception. The Night Vision capabilities are an added plus. This sight will give you an "absolute" co-witness with its height about the rail, where as the quick detach models are "lower 1/3rd" co-witness. Paired with an Eotech magnifier, and you've got yourself one of the best setups out there! If you're looking for a quality optic that won't let you down, and has been battle tested, look no further!

Absolutely the best !
The EOTech 552 is what I had on my issued rifle and in retirement I just wanted what I was accustomed to. This newer model is so much better for ease of instal and battery replacement. It uses AA batteries and not those short camera like ones that are way too expensive and die quickly. The change in battery type is a huge upgrade.

This is an excellent short range oriented sight but also works well at longer distances. I chose EOTech over a standard red dot due to the need for reading glasses for close up vision.
