Great for small rooms!
It's a very compact, lightweight sub. In a large room you won't hear a lot of bass. Also, there is some cabinet vibration, despite the manufacturer saying otherwise. Still, the quality of bass is good in a small room. It's not boomy or muddy bass. That passive radiator really works better than a port. I also like the volume control on the front side of the cabinet. It really is convenient. i am reasonable happy, it sound very good, but has a couple of problems.

A solid choice for my money
Not the most powerful subwoofer, but a solid addition to my system. I listen to a lot of small-combo jazz, and the bottom end was lacking on my midsize Klipsch speakers. The DefTech sub added just enough on the bottom end to bring out the natural sound of drums and upright basses without overwhelming anything else.
