Excellent! Easy to set up, easy to maintain.....
I have a couple of these units and i like that they are easy to set up and come with many push together tubes so that you can adjust the depth of the pickup and length of the discharge pipe. Maintenance is simple, all you do is turn the unit off (unplug it), flip the lever that locks the intake and discharge hoses to the unit, then unplug the hoses, it does not leak water when doing this. Then you can take the unit to a place to clean it out and install fresh media / filters, etc. (I clean mine out in the bathtub, but, you can take it outside and use a hose). Very little builds up in the unit housing, most everything is trapped in the filters, which just come out from each media tray. Great buy, I recommend them over power filters that are tank mounted. Very quiet with lots of filter power
This is my second SunSun external filter, the first one is a SunSun 704b (2 years old); the ultraviolet light melted a hole in two of the top baskets where the water comes into it. Plastic basket don't last forever, I figure a second backup filter is what I needed. BTW, the SunSun 304b basket is the same size as the SunSun 704b, so I was able to swap it out and let the 704b run.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
