    A little bit better capo

I don't know why but the "thin design" feature really works. You don't get that buzzing on the D and G strings that sometimes makes you have to overtighten and put the other strings out of tune. The manufacturing was a little shakey though. It's tricky to insert the crossbar to close it over the strings. You have to squeeze the whole thing to get it to go in. Not so bad once you get used to it and it does work well

Great capo, but won't fit high up the neck.

This is a great capo, but it is limited in where you can use it on the neck. Paige has other models that may be more versatile. I have an acoustic that this won't fit on past the 5th fret. It is a chunky neck, but it's not that chunky. On my tele with a modern c-profile neck, it will work up to the 10th or 11th fret. Where it fits, it works great. Easy to adjust, and stays in tune well. Good price.

  • A little pricey. Works great if it fits!

Fairly pricey capo that works great if it fits. It's smaller than I expected. I have a pretty typical acoustic guitar. Will only fit up to the 6th fret. Will not fit behind the nut for handy "on-guitar" storage as suggested. Make sure you have a neck and headstock (behind the nut) that runs a little narrow. Find one you can try on before purchase.

  • Great capo

I've used several different styles brands etc of capos...this one is the best in my opinion. Can leave it in the neck for quick use, the only problem I've ever had is when the rubber hose gets grooves after a few months...I just replace it with tubing from O'Reillys!

  • Needs improvement

I like the small size and easy storing above the nut. Also like that it doesn't pull the strings out of tune like trigger capos do However, the tightening screw really gets in the way when playing chords or notes on the fret adjacent to the capo. Possibly could be improved by angling the screw towards the headstock.

  • My New Favorite Capo!

I been using it for almost a month now and I really like it. Very low profile and quite discreet. I like how it doesn't put extreme clamping pressure on the neck. You just dial in the amount you need to do the job and that's surprisingly little. All that tremendous and excessive pressure from the "one hand" clamping type capos can pull your strings out of line and screw up the tuning and intonation. This capo applies pressure evenly across the strings and with way less pressure. I appreciate that It doesn't interfere with your hand when you play near the capo and, as many others here have said, when you don't need it, just slide it down past the nut and it just rests there almost invisibly. I just keep it on my guitar all the time. As far as how well it fits, I have used it on both my Martin D-15 and my Blueridge BR-160 as far up as the 7th fret and it fits just fine. I liked this capo so much I ordered another so I could have one dedicated to each guitar. This is dependable old school capo technology with a sleek, slim unobtrusive design and no springs to wear out and break. I guess there may be other models offered by this company and based on reviews some of the other models were less desirable. I don't know about those ones. I really like this one and my experience at the time of writing is that this particular model is superb.

  • Its light weight and esay to install on the guitar and it fits really good.

I love this capo you can control the pressure by turning the nob, I dont see any thing bad about the capo not yet.

  • Guitar Capo

The paige capo is excellent for all standard electric and acoustic guitar necks. It is designed to leave on the guitar and only has to be adjusted from fret to fret and then tightened from the screw. Excellent design and usability. I have one on all my guitars and wouldn't use anything else.

  • Slim , adjustable , stows easily above the nut.

Great product as always . I have 3 of these and they are the only capo brand I use .

  • I love being coached on my review writing, really, yes really. actually it is really annoying

O please, am I going to get marks for writing an english essay????? There should be something in between "OK" and "Better than expected". I think it is as good as expected, and reasonable value for money.
