Not what I really wanted
My error in ordering this item. I wanted an item with grass seed and a blanket to hold the seeds in place. This blanket does not have grass seeds. Also, some straw contains weed seeds and sprouts. I do not know about this blanket, but the straw is completely dried out -- thus perhaps will not have that problem. I didn't use it. I'll see if my son wants to use it in the fall when he seeds his lawn. Thus, if you want a flat blanket over seeds to keep away birds and keep the seed moist, try it. If you are looking for a combination of seeds and cover, then this item is not what you want. It is difficult to give a valuation of the wrong item, but this information might be useful.Verified purchase: Yes
