Best 1/18 diecast General Lee on the market!
Phenomenal details abound! Some small but remarkable features include an operable/sprung rear suspension, a working/spinning driveshaft, real hood hinges with correct pivots/springs, operable flip open headlight covers, and a highly detailed trunk and engine bay with period correct engine color. The doors do not open in keeping with the welded shut doors of the General Lee. The American Racing Vector rims are both accurate and look great! The whole model is very well executed. The best 1/18 model of the General Lee on the market and at a very affordable price!! An absolute must for any Mopar/Dukes of Hazzard fan! I listed it as not durable due to the fact that this is not a toy. It is an adult collectible with lots of very small metallic and plastic parts that are without doubt fragile. I received this car factory sealed. Just wanted to check it out took it out of the box the driverside is the only door that opens and is very wobbly like it is going to fall off. The hood opens but the hinges are flimsy. Be very careful closing it. Overall nice piece of history to look at. Yes it is a 5 star product. I grew up watching the show. I detailed everything in my mind about the car itself. Through the years I have seen many replicas but most were missing something. This was a great buy this car is highly detailed and it has a good amount of weight to it I brought this car cause I was a fan of the show Dukes of Hazzard and I always loved the car I didn't open it cause I'm a collector and I want to keep it mint in the box just in case I were ever going to sell it to hopefully make a good profit off of it so if your a fan of the show or a car collector this is a buy worth your money you won't regret and to think for all the work they put into making this car I would've spent more on it that's how awesome this car is and if anyone out there has this car in their collection they would agree with my words.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Southern Pride
What a great looking car. So much detail. Inside and under the hood. And that beautiful symbol of the south on the roof. Anybody that tells you the confederate flag is racist is probably a racist themselves. This flag is a southern tradition. Anybody that takes the time to do some research can easily find that war between the states was about MONEY not slavery. This is an awesome looking diecast and the details are fantastic, down to the rollbars and the engine wiring even the real steel cb antenna on the trunk lid. It is sitting on my desk in front of me where I can see it every day. I would say the only thing better would be to own the real car. Best die-cast General Lee yet!
Attention to detail on this version of the General Lee is about the best I have seen. Engine, interior, underbody is highly detailed. Just about the closest to being accurate in detail to the TV show car. Flip up headlight is sort of loose but it's a minor issue. Awesome detail! A heavy model, could be 3lbs, this is the one to gef. However it does have many delicate feeling plastic parts like for the working steering linkage, so thix is definately not one fof kids to play with.
