Kerastase Bain Satin 2 shampoo is not what it used to be
I had a five year supply of Bain Satin 2 shampoo that lasted me for years because I like to rotate shampoos, so when I finally ran out of this shampoo and went to repurchase, I noticed right away that the formula was not the same as the previous formula I had been using for years. The new formula for Bain Satin 2 has a higher level of dimethicone, a cheap greasy synthetic filler that is being increasingly used by cosmetic and hair care companies because it is so inexpensive, but easily fills up the bottle, and feels nice and slippery and silky (yes, just like oil). A little bit of various "cones" is okay, but any more than a tiny bit means greasy hair after one day, and sorry but I I expect more from a company that charges $40 for a small bottle of shampoo. Go ahead and buy a cheap bottle of shampoo, you will do just as well.
