I am the type of person that mosquitos are attracted to, so I was looking for something to use that did not smell horrible, wasn't greasy and kept the mosquitos from eating me alive. I used this product (I really slathered it on) before going outside to work in the yard. I was pleasantly surprised to notice that instead of 10,000 mosquito bites, I only had a few. Okay, but so-so at bug defense
Smell/fragrance=A+....skin softening =B....sunscreen protection =C....insect repellent =D-...so it all depends on why you are buying it. I wanted a good bug repellent and was very disappointed. My family (girls) wanted the other qualities and were very happy. No one liked the value! Much too expensive for the small amount of product. This is a really good product but the cost is high. It’s a small amount and the cost per amount is not equal. If it was around $4 per bottle that would make sense. This is the best...
This is the best bug lotion and SPF in one! This lotion goes on clean and non-greasy and lasts me most of the day. It goes on so clean I even use it on a fingertip to rub in the upper folds of my ears to keep the gnats out. I am careful to not rub any into my ear canal, just around, but that is still good enough to keep the bugs from buzzing my ears. Even though I have real thick hair, I was having a problem with bug bites on my scalp so I rubbed this on my hands and then lightly through my hair and it worked without making my hair all gummy. It doesn't smell strong at all, which is a huge reason to love it! Mosquitos, gnats, flies, wasps and more all stay away! I like to sit outside in the evenings and watch the bats and stars come out and this makes me comfortable without feeling like I am sitting inside a stinking chemical cloud. This really works
I used this product all last year. Not only does it provide protection from the sun it also keeps the bugs away. I was the only one who had this on at the beach and my grandkids used another product. The flies and chiggers kept flying around them but didn’t get to me. My granddaughter said she wants poppa’s sunscreen next time we go to the beach or to golf again that I had to get a tube for her. Works great!
Although I hate wearing sunscreen or bug repellent, this product prevented me from getting any mosquito bites on my recent trip to Yosemite. I only got one bite when I wasn't wearing this product. My husband didn't use repellent and had over a couple dozen bites on his hands and face. THE best sun screen/bug protection there is - period.
I've been using Skin So Soft with Bug Guard IR3535 for many years. I am the kind of person mosquitoes love - absolutely love. But with this on, I have not had one bite that I can recall in more than 15 years. All kinds of bugs that used to bug me no longer do, as long as I don't forget to put this on my exposed skin. Skin So Soft has a pleasant smell, and it keeps flying bugs off of your skin. It needs to be reapplied perhaps about every half hour, but it does work well. Bugs do indeed stay away. The cream product is better to me than the spray, which is kind of oily. The cream isn’t. A tube of cream last’s a long time, even with two users. Terrific product!!!
