It may just be me, but ...
Bought this model after my earlier Kindle decided to partially freeze after 4 yrs of service. Setting up this new device wasn't quite as simple as is promoted - would you recall a password you used once 4 yrs ago? Anyway, eventually recovered my library, although had lost my folders, and most ebooks showed as "unread". All books were simply dumped into the one location. The device itself is very easy to read - although leaving wi-fi "on" will really drain the battery quickly. I like the backlit screen, and it has a much faster processor than my previous. One complaint, when reading and a finger brushes the screen (usually when holding the edge panel) the page jumps to a completely random page - usually quite a way further into the book - and then I need to skim page by page trying to find where I was reading. It may be just me, but it's bloody annoying. That said, it's still a good e-reader.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No more buying books that you never get around to finishing... with samples you can read the start (around 1-2 chapters) of the book at no cost and purchase only if you want. All done from the kindle which is great. This motivates you to read more and only purchase books you know you will actually enjoy!
