nice grip, nice price
I have not noticed any adverse behavior with this grip. Battery drain is normal. The buttons are programmable just as the buttons on the body. I use back button focus and it works great. It does feel somewhat different than the Nikon grip I held at the store but the price difference far offsets that. This seems a reliable and cost effective grip. The remote is a bonus. I have used other off-brand grips on other camera models with not so favorable results. I like this one.

It's really good, I love it and it's significantly cheaper than the Nikon version though it does feel very plastic and not quite secure.
