Just awesome absolutely perfect
The notes just blend together perfectly from opening to dry down. I got compliments from day one on a night out. This would be a perfect fragrance for the cooler weather and/or a evening out. It projects like a beast for a couple hours so be carful on the sprays and know what the environment is going to be like before you apply. I waited for 30 to 45 minutes before stepping out. My favorite was the dry down by far though the opening wasn’t bad at all. This is definitely going to be my new favorite.

Similar but different
If you enjoy the regular A*Men, but think that it is very loud, then this will be perfect for you. It is much more tamed and has a boozy smell that I absolutely adore. This fragrance took me a few wearings to warm up to it, because the regular A*Men just is 3 times stronger, but this cologne has it purpose. I have learned to adore Pure Malt, and when my bottle runs out, I will absolutely be repurchasing another bottle.

Good product from Thierry Mugler.
I purchased this perfume seeing lots of good reviews about this. My opinion is this is a good fragrance but not the best in my collection. Some guys said me the smell is very good but I noticed most females don't like it that much. I think silage and longevity is about 5/10. I tested this few times. What I found is this thing doesn't work in hot weather. So I use to wear it at night. I will keep it in my collection but I will not be using this as my signature scent.

For Malty Friends
Thierry Mugler series has an undertone DNA through most of their creations. Pure Havane and Pure Malt are similar. I personally prefer the Pure havane. Ideally an evening, Fall / Winter fragrance. Or if its used in the tropics, ideal for open areas in slightly cold monsoon times. Heavy, boozy, sweet, smoky. Stays on clothes for a day o two.

Great scent. Not the beast mode projection that I was expecting though.
Arrived on time. Couldn't even notice any scratches. The only issue I have with this product is that all my Thiery Mugler fragrances last for up to 24 hours, and carry a nice scent bubble for many hours. This one seems to fade fast. That doesn't line up with my previous experience with this fragrance.

Does not work for me
I was looking for a boozy, fall/winter scent and Pure Malt seemed just the ticket. It does smell wonderful but on me it becomes a skin scent after a few hours. Maybe I'm suffering from olfactory fatigue with this because most reviews report good longevity.
