Takes a Bit of Time to Learn
Once I figured out how to use the printer wirelessly, I have been most pleased. Fast printing if you use "economical printing" and even fast if you do not. Ink quality is great. Love the feature of how the printer drawer opens when one is printing. Sturdy. Great features: copy, scan, print. Just follow the instructions for setting up the printer and use the CD software that comes with the printer. I highly recommend this printer. Don’t rely on this for Wi-Fi printing
Initially was an easy setup and working well. When a power outage occurred and my Wi-Fi modem reset this would not reconnect despite seeing the modem. Multiple password tries, factory reset, setup through my desktop after factory reset. Nothing worked. Every other Wi-Fi enabled device in my house is working just fine. Gave up. excellent home printer
This HP printer was easy to set up. Instructions for the printer were so so but there are several good videos on YouTube that shows how to set up on your home network. HP brand ink is expensive but there are several sellers on Ebay that sell non OEM brand ink that works great. Have set up 4 devices (laptop, cell phone, tablet and desktop) on printer network and they are all working great. Good printer, quick printing.
Bad service from HPHelp online. Instructions not clear for wireless printing and I needed help, I’m 75 years old and have had many HP printers with no problems but online help didn’t work for me. Finally got a landline # and help. It’s a battle to speak to anyone from Hp on a telephone so good luck if you need assistance. If you are NOT an electronic geek.
If you did not grow up in the computer generation it is NOT easy to set up! It does not have directions for senior citizens. Keeping in mine this is not my first printer or computer. I follow directions easily. JUST not good directions to set it up. Finally got it but took 4 hours. Do like the looks, the area it covers is smaller than previous HP. The best printer I have ever had.
This is not just a printer. You can print photos, scan anything, and send your requests to the printer using the wireless feature. I ordered my printer not knowing if it would be wonderful, or like my previous printers - just okay. It is absolutely wonderful just as I hoped. Set up was explained clearly, and anyone could do it. The print quality is out of this world, and the double sided option makes it so easy. I love being able to print on both sides of the paper making my jobs more effecient and save money. It even has touchscreen. Printing from my computer, tablet, and phone is super exciting. There are not any of those times of wanting to print something and forgetting to do it from my computer. I can do it johnny on the spot. This is not a second rate home printer. It is a professional one in my eyes. Everything looks fantastic, is very clear, and the colors are precise and sharp. The Instant Ink program will be my new shopping experience. I will always have ink and at bargain prices. There is not anymore of that run over to town and check here and there attempting to locate the right cartridges, etc. Yet another way to save time and money. Nice printer
This printer works very well...I would have given it five stars but I wish it was more compact. I had the Envy 110 all in one printer and loved it, until it stop communicating with my computer. We could not figure out why. It seemed more compact..I do not like the bulkiness of this Envy printer, but it works beautifully. Great printer at a real good price!
I am very satisfied with this printer. It prints from all my devices with ease. Hey, I can even print some stuff by just asking my Google Home! Great idea merging with google, HP! Oh yeah, the HP Instant Ink is unbelievable! Awesome idea, and I took advantage of that real quick. I don't do alot of printing sometimes, but sometimes I might, so now I always have ink and I don't have to worry about running down to Walmart and shelling out big bucks for replacement ink cartridges. Way to go HP on this printer, you guys went above and beyond my expectations with the price and quality and the things you can do with it. Excellent economical printer for home/home office use.
The printer is user friendly. Easily connected to my laptop. It's lightweight and a pleasing streamlined design. My prior HP printer was bulky and odd shaped. The paper bar automatically slides out to support printed pages; user has to remember to manually slide it back in to avoid breaking it. A safer design would be to have it automatically slide back in when print job is finished. Ink cartridges easy to use. Display is helpful; I haven't explored all options/features and therefore can't comment. I've had the printer for less than two weeks and hope it holds up.
