The experience has put me off bidding on locos advertised as NOT TESTED.
Visually the loco is in good condition,and decided to bid on it because although it was advertised as not tested, the cosmetic condition suggested that it was ok However when I checked it over I found out that the mechanism was seized.,also the motor wouldn't run. This was because a brush spring was missing.After ordering and fitting new brushes and springs,the motor now runs.The wheels are still seized,which I believe to be a quartering problem. When this problem has been sorted and the loco re-assembled,it should be a nice loco.

A good model for its age
Although this product is 30 years old, I was lucky enough to get it in mint condition and unused. A very good model of the class of locomotive.
