beach boys singles in a boxset
This is a cool collection of early singles with sleeves. Back in the day , people would collect singles. If they had a picture on them all the better. Some of the b sides were never released on cd until now either. There's a lot of good songs here and a useless book of pictures. They could have given track info in that book as well. Still , as I collect this band , and love em , I had to have this. The sound is excellent here and it's a cool boxset for collectors. iT's not for the casual fan.. The Original US Singles Collection The Capitol Years 1962–1965 is a 16 CD boxset released in 2008 from Capitol, which features the original singles (in mono and stereo) from The Beach Boys from 1962–1965. The reason for 16 disks in the original box set was so each CD represented one 45 rpm single. Needless to say the cost was too high except for the most die hard fans. This two disk set contins all the songs on the 16 CD set. It was a more intelligent way of issuing the material.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Worth every penny!!!
This collection of Beach Boys singles is a must for all Beach Boys fans. I highly recommend it to everyone. This music is timeless. It's from an era when music was absolutely amazing. A lot of the stuff, and I call it stuff! that's out there today doesn't even come close to the music from this time in our history! If you are a fan of the Beach Boys then this box set is for you! My advice to you, BUY IT! It's worth every penny! Enjoy listening to the great music from yesterday! Surf's Up! Grab your board! And listen to America's greatest rock and roll band!
