The Sony VPH-D50HTU CRT projector is a multiple-format LCD projector for HD video and photos. This Sony projector supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM analog video formats. The unit is compatible for use with PCs. This CRT projector can connect with external devices using the composite, component, and Y/C video ports that come preinstalled in the device. The unit also has on-screen languages that include English, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Italian and Spanish. This Sony projector produces high-definition imagery in 720p and 1080i quality. The unit is also capable of using 480i standard definition sources. The Sony VPH-D50HTU CRT projector produces images up to 250 inches in size. The LCD projector displays photos and videos in 1024x768-pixel resolution, is compatible with 4:3 aspect ratio, and has a throw distance of up to 23.82 feet. The CRT projector features video memory, picture orbit function, index function, and a RS-422A computer interface. This interface allows connection to a PC for access to computer files, photo, videos, and more. It also allows control of the projector using the PC. Optional lenses are available for this Sony projector and include long zoom and short zoom lenses.
