The sale fell thru do to breakage but purchased the same item through someone else. We have monitored our air quality with our digital smart scale (Withings) that keeps 24/7 track of air quality. The before and after is extreme. it clearly shows the unhealthy air quality especially during the night before purchase and use versus after. I was surprised because we have high, vaulted sealings and open our windows daily during the day. We also have 2 dogs so dander has been an issue despite hardwood floors throughout. Better to buy a new one unless price is really low
Okzy, the machine has one year left on a 5 year warrantee. Although it was carefully packed, two of the roller legs were broken on arrival. I called IQ Air and since it was still under warantee they replaced them for free and sent 4 roller legs plus the attachment they go into which was missing in this one. I ordered it to deal with sensitivity to mold. My clinician insisted I replace all three filters to avoid cross contamination. Two of the filters were noticeably darker and had stuff in them. Also when I ran it prior to talking with the clinician it gave off a funny odor that bothered me. Once the filters were replaced it was fine. However, I could have gotten a new one on Allergy Buyers Club for $700. I called and that was the offer. For paying $375 plus having to replace all three filters for $350, I would have been far better off buying a new one, and getting a ten year warranty. Assume if your buying one, you should replace the filters. So, no matter how much time is left on the filters. So, unless you can buy one for around $200 to $250 or if the filters were brand new (not likely) -- just get a new one, especially if you are sensitive to mold.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This air filter is the real deal
Industrial quality. It will make a real difference in air quality. At lower settings it is very quiet. At the top end it is very loud, but it is moving massive amounts of air and worth it for large spaces or temporary clean up. All other products I looked at were toys compared to this. Allergy sufferer
The fan is quiet at the lower speeds, at speed 5 and 6 it sounds like a small box fan. The unit got rid of my allergies super quick, it's pricey but it works; I can't say the same with the other air purifiers I have bought in the past. Clean air
Great product. On high it is quite loud. On lowest fan speed very quite. Only problem is, in order to circulate enough air it has to run on high. The unit filters around 1200 cubic feet per hour. The measurements should show square and cubic feet in ads. For example: My home is 2000 square feet however, I have raised ceilings through out so, cubic footage plays a major part. The HVAC techs. all say I only need a 4 ton A/C unit however, It takes a 5 ton unit to cool without running continuously. I have severe allergy problems and inflammation caused by dust. This unit makes my life livable again but, I have to take it from room to room that I'm going to spend a lot of time in such as the bedroom at night and the living room in the day. best air cleaner so far
very good at removing smoke smell i had init on fan speed 3 and have been running it for 3 days and now you cant smell any smoke smell in apt. unit was upgraded t to the heakth pro plus model with the v 5 filter though i think this had alot to do with it too, as you know the filters are expensive but worth it . you dont have to worry about ozone like what some of the other units use to clean airVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
