Cheap battery trimmer from a good brand
It is a nice device overall, and definitely good for its price. But do not expect that you will be able to trim your hair with it (unless you want to cut everything to a very short length). The device is quite loud, much louder than the wired professional hair trimmer by Wahl. Included extensions allow you to select 1.5 mm, 3 mm and 4.5 mm cutting length. There is also one that is supposed to be adjustuble, "5 positon guide comb", but this is the most dangerous one. Depending on how you hold the trimmer, it will cut some random length between 5 and 15 mm, really horrible experience. Changing the position does not change much, because of the shape of the comb. So if you need to be able to evenly cut hair to some longer length, than 4.5 mm, this device will not help. It will just ruin your hairstyleVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good brand - poor product!
Bought this as I have previously owned Wahl trimmers. This one is a big disappointment. Poorly made and doesn't feel robust in the hand. Have difficulty trimming even my beard - the blades get jammed and stop. I wouldn't buy this ever again!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent value
I've only recently decided to see how a beard suits me, (and if it suits with the wife!:) ) so I thought I'd better go down the cheap and cheerful route to begin with regarding keeping it trim and tidy. Very simply, for what it cost, this is excellent. Easy to use, good little instruction booklet, all the various adapters that you need, perfect! Highly recommended! I already have a very high quality full size WAHL hair trimmer so I knew I was dealing with something good. I have used my old trimmer for roughly seven years with never a problem. The thing is, I like to keep my hair as short as possible without shaving my head. My old trimmer is great for this purpose, but I travel abroad regularly and it is not convenient to pack the bigger trimmer along with an adapter. So I purchased this smaller battery powered trimmer. I tested it out the next day and was amazed to find it gave me an even close cut. Not only that, but because there is no power cord it is even more versatile. The plan was to leave it at the place I stay when I go abroad. Well I did that, but then I felt I needed another one for use here in Britain whenever I'm on the road. It's just so easy to stick in a small overnight bag. I use it to cut my whole head of hair and it is quick, convenient and does not leave lines. Extremely sharp blades allow for easy beard trimming. Good assortment of trim guides and accessories. Suitable for trimming to a wide range of lengths. Whilst the instructions on how to trim your beard are comprehensive, the details of fitting the length guides are vague. As the guides are a very tight fit, it is better to insert the tip of the cutter into the guide and then swing the latter until the securing clip engages. Low quality product no instructions for attachments
Not sure if this was just mine but the housing feels cheap so I suppose goes with the price and it doesn't seem to cut well. And mine didn't come with instructions for the attachments.
