Nice little vacuum...better than the new model in a couple of important ways.
This obsolete 41A model has a slightly longer cord than its replacement and the cord is also softer and easier to rewind. I was glad to find one on e-Bay but had to wait several weeks for the search engine to show one available. The powered brush works well on auto carpets and the hose is easy to detach and use with the little crevice tool. Being able to easily switch the power brush off is another plus. For a handy little vacuum to use on cars and for other small jobs in the garage it works very well. It has plenty of suction for most small jobs . The Worst
It is powerful, BUT: It's too heavy, and the handle is VERY uncomfortable. It has too much drag-friction and must be held at a particular angle to suck properly. It's very noisy. Awesome tool for quick cleanups.
I gave up on hand vacs awhile back because the battery always pooped out. This is the perfect answer. The cord is long, the vac is lightweight and my attachments fit on this little gem. I have mobility issues and I can carry this where I need to and set it on the floor and use a longer attachment allowing me to stand up straight. Very handy and powerful
Use this for cleaning our stairs...and it's very handy and powerful. Some may find the cord not as convenient, but I don't mind the 60 seconds it takes to use the cord. The cord wraps securely around the back of the vacuum and stores away nicely. And the cord is long enough to plug it in at the bottom of our stairs and work all the way up to the landing on the 2nd floor. The vacuum works well, as is evidenced by the amount of stuff you can see being trapped in the clear bin area, which is very easy to empty. Love this vac!
I was looking for a hand vac specifically to clean my 3 automobiles, to replace an Electrolux Lil Lux II. I was shopping for a corded model for consistent power without the worries of charging or safety issues of batteries. I have easy access to outside plug-in outlets so a cord wasn't an issue for me. After reading a number of reviews I decided to give this baby a try and I am very glad I did. Very powerful, great suction, the dust cup opens and empties easily, and the front flip up guard comes in very handy in the cars especially on the seats. Makes quick work of dirt/sand on the carpeting and mats, and does a reasonable job on pet hair on the seat covers. The cord seemed a little meager at first but I've found that makes the vac easier to move around and the long length stores easily on it's slot on the handle. The unit is larger and maybe a bit heavier than the Electrolux I've been using but it is well balanced and is not difficult to manage. Some folks have issues with the vac being loud but I thought it to be quieter than the Lil Lux II and was not bothered by it's sound at all. It's slightly larger size means it may not fit in all the places you want to clean but the incorporated hose makes quick work of the tightest spots under pedals, between/under seats, etc. If I had to pick one item to gripe about I would say that the power button (which also unlocks the dust cup) could have been slightly larger to make it easier on the old thumb to operate but overall I love this vacuum and give it my highest rating.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well-designed, good exercise for me.
Noisier than I expected, but then I try not to vacuum too often, as I don't want to wear out the floor. Scares the cat a lot, but then she's the one that contributes bits of litter to the rug. Sorry, Cleo. Yellow is a lovely color for doing something as odious as vacuuming. I like the plug-in aspect. The other ones with batteries, I feel it's wasteful to have something sitting around, waiting for its annual usage, but plugged in using electricity unnecessarily. Eureka Easy Clean Hand Vac 71B
It is easy to clean if you use water but other than that dust get trapped into the filter. But I want to give a 4 and a half star. It isn't really that bad of a deal. Just rinse with water and the dust will go. So it is a semi easy clean. Sound isn't that loud. Only you smell plastic because the motor is new and that is why it smells but the smell will go away. Overall get this vacuum it does the job and the cable length is perfect in our case. Our stair way is about 20 feet so it is a perfect match. The way the cable wraps around the vacuum is a winner because you can store this vacuum about any where possible. I say this vacuum is totally worth it to try out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty good vacuum
Overall I am pleased with this vacuum. I only have a couple issues with it, one being that the hose is very short which in turn makes it awkward to hold & vacuum at the same time. I prefer the nozzle attachment so more hose would be good. Other issue is that it’s loud. It has good suction which I would rather have over noise level. It sucks, but that is a good thing...
I was looking for a cleaning solution, in between pulling out the upright and living with excessive dog hair on the furniture. This was the decision, I'm glad I made. Plenty of power, no expensive bags and it gives me a few extra options as far as my housekeeping choices. A bit loud, but that is to be expected from this handheld unit. So glad I bought this
Just had hardwood floors installed and the two flights of stairs act as a giant dust collector. This vacuum cleans tight to the edges with plenty of suction, doesn't tire my arm, and stores easily thanks to onboard tool storage and wraparound cord.
