  • Perfect for vintage road bikes with a quill stem.

This is a perfect replacement to the heavy, steel drop bars on my vintage road bike. These Nitto bars are very light. The original drop bars are too narrow for me, about 40cm. I chose the 44cm size and it fits me much better. These bars are meant for quill stems with a wrap around handlebar clamp, no removable face plate. The Nitto bar threads through the stem clamp with no problem. Other bars, especially ergo bars, cannot be threaded through the stem clamp because of their sharper bends. Note that these bars cannot be used on stems with a 25.4mm clamp (with the face plate). The diameter of the bar at the mounting point is 26.0mm. The 0.6mm difference makes the handlebar too large to properly fit in a 25.4mm clamp. A quill stem with a wraparound clamp can be expanded to accommodate the 26.0mm Nitto drop bar.

  • Nitto Noodle Handlebar

The Noodle is one of the few widest road bars currently in the market. They're great quality and heat treated to strengthen them. The ramps are bend upward where the brakes are position. I find them very comfortable compared to the classic, narrow Nitto road bars. The drops are slightly pointed outward for a more ergonomics feel.

  • Great Bars

Good price, design and quality. I chose these because they were in between a Cinelli Compione Del Mundo (Deep Drop) and their (I forget the line) other version that has a shallower drop. I also like how the Noodle has a flatter, more horizonal section above the brake hoods that allows the hands to rest easily compared to Cinelli.

  • One of the best bars you can buy. Unsurpassed quality.

As far as road bars go the Nitto Noodle is hard to beat. A great handle bar! The flat short ramps, the slightly swept back top and the semi shallow drops allows for multiple hand positions which are all super comfortable! High quality super finish work beautiful craftsmanship. I highly recommend the Noodle!

  • Comfortable and good looking

I’ve been into the idea of an “all road” bike recently, and have deprioritized equipment meant for racing per se. So these bars came up in various searches. These are traditional bars compared to the short and shallow compact style of bars that are on typical road bikes, sporting a longer reach and deeper, round drop. But I’ve found that longer reach provides more hand placement options while on my rides. So it isn’t just hoods, tops, and drops, but a few places in between. And with a taller spacer stack under my stem, I can comfortably ride in the drops for more control and better aerodynamics. I’ve had to purchase a 30mm shorter stem to accommodate the longer reach, but the bike handles just fine when on the hoods going at a tempo pace. And when things are slow and tight, the combination of a shorter stem gives me more control and balance. These bars require a shim to fit to typical stems these days. But that is only a minor expense and inconvenience. While called the Noodle, I wouldn’t say these bars are overly flexy (as a muscular 200lbs). But I’m not a crit racer. Also, I’m really digging the polished aluminum look. My bike looks classy and timeless amid the high tech aero rockets out. I really don’t know if you could do better for the money. These bars are super comfortable, high quality, and beautiful—if a little old school. Sometimes the tried and true just works.

  • best road bar ever

the Nitto Noddle is such a comfortable bar. The back sweep and flat tops are both great features. Love the longer reach too which offers more hand positions.

  • My New Noodle Bars.

Perfect for my bike. I ride long distances, and the bars are comfortable and well-sized. I ride with bar end shifters and the Nitto Noodle 177 accepted them. The construction of the product is flawless. I expect them to last me for many years.

Great classic shape, works beautiful with classic steel frame and quill style stem. A beautiful satin finish with engraved center section. Great that Nitto offers wider width.
