Great for hobby or professional use
I have 3 of these lathes. Every one of them is working perfectly. Made it 10 years before spending a dime on my first one. Thought I needed new bearings. Turns out I needed to replace my chuck. They are very user friendly and easy to do maintenance and repair on. Only down side is the chucks that are available with this spindle thread of 1" x 8 tpi. there are 3 main manufacturers of chucks ready to fit this lathe. Buy the most expensive.
