Direct Replacement
Direct replacement for the existing smoke/ionization alarm installed 13 years ago. Easy to install, just follow the instructions. Hardest part was bringing the step-stool over. Battery installation requires simply opening the small latched door, then closing it. Sometimes same old same old is good
My house is 15 years old. Although I replaced all the batteries in my nine smoke detectors when I moved into the house five years ago I failed to notice that the detectors should all have been replaced completely around that date. When I realized this I decided to purchase nine replacements. I was delighted to find that exactly the same model is still available. This made the change-out that much easier, because smoke detectors do not all us the same ceiling mount or wiring connector. The job is now done and I’m happy.
