The Sony DAV-DZ260 5.1 Channel Home Cinema System with DVD Player fills a room with size, producing an impressive 850 watts. The Sony Home Cinema System includes a central speaker, four satellite speakers and a 14-0W subwoofer for a complete surround sound experience. The accompanying Sony DVD player generates 1080p signals for high definition televisions. Today's DVD home cinema systems need to accommodate multiple media devices, and the Sony home cinema system is no exception. The USB port at the front of the Sony DVD player allows playback of MP3, JPEG files, Windows Media Audio and AAC2 files from MP3 players or memory sticks, as well as disc playback of MP3s and JPEG image files. The Sony Home Cinema System also offers AM/FM radio with 30 station presets. DVD home cinema systems can produce sudden bursts of sound when dialogue gives way to special effects. The Sony Home Cinema System includes a Dialogue Enhancer option that allows you to hear dialogue while reducing the volume of explosions and other loud sound effects, making the system ideal for late-night viewing when loud noises might disturb others.
