It you don"t own one you don"t know what you are missing a real pleasure to sew with.
Pfaff 1222 are still very desirable and they can easily last a lot of years if properly cared for. A simple cleaning and oiling one drop at a time with proper oil and this can easily last another 40 years.Storage is also very important not to be stored anywhere but in a heated /ac room not in damp basement or hot garage or the attic. Also the machine must be used at least every three months get it out and run it 15-minutes take out the thread and bobbin and run at different speeds not wide openVerified purchase: Yes
