Fairly easy to Install to save a bundle of cash and time.
The original working inverter water pump was replaced by the dealer under warranty at 65K miles. The new "improved" pump lasted less than 30K with no dealer warranty. I bought this pump and it took me about 30 minutes to replaced the old one. Time will tell if it's better than the last one but it fit perfectly and works like it should. Very happy with price and the fast shipping. I will be buying a spare one to keep it with the car because this part seems they go bad at the worst time! Runs but DOES NOT FUNCTION. It does NOT circulate the coolant.
My Prius lit up check engine light with P2601 code. Common for Prius as the CWS water pump has been failing in a lot of Priuses. So I ordered one, installed it, the check engine light comes back on with the same code. A couple months later, I went to Toyota dealer and they recommended replacing the CWS water pump with genuine Toyota part, so I agreed. It's been 1500+ miles and the light hasn't came back on. The technician said the old pump (this Ebay item) makes running noise, but there is no movement in coolant. THIS PUMP DOES NOT WORK. DO NOT BUY. This water pump seems to be a better product than the one I bought one month ago. It was twice as much, but it's OEM. I returned a china-made pump that only lasted one month. Works great!
Moderately easy to self install on a 2005 Prius. I had to remove the 10mm bolts and hoses to get the original pump out. No impact driver required, just a long torque wrench extender. In for a week now with no issues. P0A93 code cleared immediately.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth Price but Check with Dealer too
Original Product. I have tried a few Inverter Coolant pumps. You can't beat the original I know it is expensive but you will save on labor. It's hard to find a working pump out of those cheap pumps. I gave a try to cheap pumps at first and pretty much never worked out, I will still get inverter coolant pump codes. I put this one and test drive the car for almost 250 miles and it's working fine. Is OEM better than the cheap knock offs?

INSTALLED AND WORKS VERY WELL
I installed this pump in my prius 2004 after a generic code p0a93 shown in code read. It works good and no more issues at all with coolant temperature performance.
