Desmond's
Desmond's had all the characters to make you laugh your head off all day long.
This was one of Peckham best, together with Only Fools and Horses, Desmond's was so entertaining, I used to sit behind the TV and watched the episode unfolds series after series, I recorded the complete episode on VHS and ever since, I have been watching my unedited one until I spotted this beautiful DBD on eBay Thanks to Music Magpie for bringing us all back to skul all these beauties.
For me, life was hectic, having arrived from war torn Northern Uganda, I became a victim of Hatred by Two Police Officers from Hornsey Police Department, the two officers forced their way into my flat, once they gained entrance to my house, they forced me to the bedroom and tried to suffocated me, my Friend Joe a English closed friend saved me, he rushed in into my bedroom just as I started to black out and grabbed the one who had pinned down my legs and he was pushed out, I could hear him calling his mum, The Officer who was trying to suffocated me had loosened the grips but, he still had his knee reluctantly while putting handcuffs on my hands, I hadn't done nothing, I am new and very polite and to make it even worse, before I left Uganda our Police bodyguard was killed and placed across the road to prevent people going to Town, The smell was very strong and road was diverted to a distance, I walked straight to him and looked hard at him and cried and cried,.
I have since survived another attempt in 2006 when Clerkenwell Magistrate Judge placed me Police Custody after arriving five minutes in Court, instead of taking me to Brixton Police station, they took me To Brixton Prison.
On arrival, we found inmates being processed, I was made to wait until all of them have been processed and gone, when my turn came, I walked to the processing table, and my initials were or were not recorded, They withdrew my Uganda Pass port and was given Prison uniform and was asked to change where I was standing, I guess there was a female Prison officer around at the time.
I asked why I have to change in front all those people, two huge Prison Guards grabbed me on both arm and pushed my head under the table and raised them upwards while on of them was controlling me by pointer finger, very painful eventually got broken the same my right thumb.
I was taken to a room with slanting floor and stripped me naked and was made to spend Friday In cold cement cell.
On Saturday morning, I was taken before a high Rank Prison accused posing threat to Prison Guards (At the time I didn't know that I was actually already been convicted of assaulting two police officers) He added two weeks to serve after I had served what I was taken to prison for, I Was then taken to share a Cell with and Indian boy, He was mentally sick, I noticed as soon as I met him, he asked me questions after questions most of them was who I am and where I come from and when he asked me why I came to Britain, I became emotional and tried to narrated it to him but I couldn't stand the emotions, he consoled me and we became friends, I spent the night with him, he talked almost through out but slept, I didn't, my inststint was strong and I was alert till morning.
Next day, I was moved to share a Cell with a Rastafarian Jamaican National, On my arrival, He went to the Corner and was was squatting for several minutes until I managed to get a light from one of the Guards., He came back to life and rushed to the bed, sat with just a little bit of his Bum touching the bed, his little finger dug into the bed stand's hole, He pulled a tissue wrapped and dug it open, inside, was weed, he pulled out a inner Cigarette packet lining and carefully peeled the otter foil bits and extended his hand towards me and I immediately responded by handing over a stick of cigarette.
after He rolled the marijuana, he, looked at me and smiled, I knew he needed a light and hand over the extra burning one I had put on stand by, He pulled multiple times and glance at me, it's no big deal but, I had packed it in, pass it to me and we shared the spliff while keeping the other fire carrier cigarette alive, we still had sixteen more in the pack.
At around midnight, six Prison Officers came to our cell and told him, time to go and they grabbed and through the door they goes.
The following day Monday, I was due in Court for 9:00 Am but nothing happened, sleep started to get the best of me but, was alert at all time
My door was opened and I was.told that I was.going for exercise and was taken to a large cage where inmates exercises, joined in and as soon as I joined the Group, I was asked if I knew that we were locked till mid Day was because the Rastafarian I shared a room with was found dead.by ťhe stairs.
I returned to Court without my passport.and I still don't have passport
