Great replacement key fob shell
When my key fob fell apart I thought I was in for an expensive replacement. Spotted this case on eBay and thought for the small cost it was worth a try. Genuine Landrover key fob case
This is a great repelacement case for our key fob where the rubber was peeling away. Just take the innards of the old fob and put in new. Fitting note - there are 2 little plastic pins holding the old motherboard in, just trim the heads off and it should then come away and put in new case. Genuine key fob case replacement
This is an ideal replacement for the Freelander 2 five button key fob case where the original rubber on the keypad has become loose. On opening up your existing key fob you will find the circuit board is retained by two small pins. Trim the heads off with a sharp knife and gently lever the circuit board out. Then place into the new case, close together and slide on your existing chrome piece.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its typical JLR in that its a little fiddly to transfer the electronics from the old fob into the new but, other than that, whereas the old key was falling to bits, this has refreshed it to a new state.
