The craftsmanship and quality is great and worthy of the Rickenbacker name embossed into the shoulder pad. However, the problem I find with strap design is that the shoulder pad cannot be fixed into position. The result is that during a gig the pad keeps working its way down your back, hence leaving the narrow part to cut into your shoulder..
