The DWS5022 is a reversible 1.5 metre track for use with the DWS520 plunge saws, as well as other DeWalt circular saws and routers. It features a support rail which runs up the middle and distributes weight effectively to deliver an accurate cut. The anti-friction base and replaceable non-slip strip on underside of rail ensure solid performance. The length can be extended by purchasing multiple rails and joining them together using the DeWalt DE6292-XJ Plunge Saw Guide Rail Connector Joining Bar. Ok but could be better
The rail is ok but if you are looking for something to cut dead straight cuts this isn't it the tolerance is quite high and I find I get a better result just using a long level or other straight where also the end isn't square. You would expect to be able to simply butt one rail in to the next and get a straight cut you can't the end was out of square by about 1.5mm so I have to use a straight edge to align the rails it's really disappointing you expect more from dewalt.

Everything you expect from DeWalt
Goes brilliant with the DeWalt plunge saw nice straight cuts all the time, really good for anyone who cuts sheets of timber and who needs a machine quality edge and isn't in a workshop environment, also excellent for trimming down timber doors in situ especially when laying new flooring which is higher than the original... Excellent product but beware only the DeWalt saws will work on this guide rail due to the unique design which as a plus works on both sides unlike it's competitor companies, idea is to use 1 side for your 90-degree cuts and the other side to be used for your 45-degree cuts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
