These fit Weber DCOE 40 & 45 and IDF 36, 40, 45 & 48, Dell'Orto DHLA & DRLA carburettors. RamAir sock style air filters, which feature two holes cut out of the foam on the underside of the air filter.The two holes are designed, so that you can pull the air filter over the top of the trumpets of the carb or the engine's two air intakes - whichever is necessary.

For CBR 750 HURRICANE
No hassle with purchase or time for receiving stuff, great seller as straight to business. These twin socks don't come with velocity stacks but we knew that anyway, they can stretch over the carb inlets easily or over stacks just as easily and sit on really well. Tip; they sit on better if some form of stacks are used and there is no need for ties or straps. Went for using these on my hurricane as the don't take up too much space which leaves more for air suction, they are just as good if not better than cone filters, great induction sound in conjunction with the stainless exhaust and they look great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Be careful of choking the trumpets!
Unfortunately this product has just 'cost' me a £150 race I could not take part in. I replaced 2 perished ITG filters with what looked like an innovative solution for a twin choke 45 Weber set up. Qualifying went okay, if a bit down on power at peak, but the car then 'bogged down' on the start line for Race 1 and the engine would not rev over 4000rpm. Turns out the foam was being ingested by the trumpet and killing airflow. I removed the filter and it revved freely. You may get away with some sort of spacer to enhance airflow and keep the foam face away from the end of the trumpets, but I would not recommend this solution personally for racing. Build quality was fine, delivery was great .... but it still cost be a vital race at the end of my season. Frustrating. ;o(Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great solution that is easy to fit.

A sub-standard product
There is no fine filter element on this product despite whatRam air have assured me. I’ve looked under a microscope and the structure of the internal and external foam is identical (as can be seen in first 3 photos). I’ve used Ram air products in the cars I’ve built over the last 15 years and these are not the same quality. The filters I have all have clear finer internal foam fitted (as per the last 2 photos) . I spoke to Ram Air but they told me that the product they have sent me represents the quality of the product they will be supplying going forward. I’ll have to look for another supplier now.
