Socket tester 👌
A very good low cost device that works really well. I've been having problems with a socket on a double gang outlet for some time and had to stop using it due it damaging two devices that were plugged into it. I tried the tester in various other sockets in my house and it gave a good report for all of them except the one with the issue which gave a no neutral connection. I am now confident that my devices aren't the problem and I can now get it fixed. It’s not as fancy as some testers you can get, but it works just great. Quality is strong and I think it will last some time if not dropped from a great height. Better safe than so!
There isn't much that I can say about this, except that it works very well. This is the second one that I have bought. My Grandaughter thought it was so good that she "borrowed" it to test all her sockets. She apparently tested most of her friends houses too. One had an earth connection missing on a kitchen double socket. Turned out to be a loose connection. Easily fixed. Apparently she still has more friends houses to test. So I gave her the tester. So I bought another just for myself. So, beware if you have children or grandchildren. They might also want to borrow it.
