May Not Be What I Needed for my vehicles motor.....
Pro - was easy to pour into the engine, instructions on use I had to Google. But basically pour it in, let vehicle motor idle for 10 min and then take it for a run. Unfortunately there has been no definite change to my motor or the sound coming from it. So either my motor hydraulics are too far gone for its use or it is not the lifters at all. Does what it says on the tin
I recently bought a Renault Scenic that the previous owner never lifted the bonnet to check the poor car's fluids. No surprise then that the oil level had dropped dramatically and the hydraulic tappets were very noisy as a result of that. I have bought these 'voodoo products' in the past that promised much and delivered little, so I was just a bit sceptical when I bought this one, but the alternatives didn't bear thinking about so it was at least worth a punt. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say. Oil cap off, poured the contents into the engine and within a mile or so the tappet noise certainly was greatly reduced. Tappet fixer! Amazing.
I'm not one to write reviews, by for this product I have to!! Delivery was within the time frame and was very happy. My freelander has had loud hydrology tappets for a few months I tried the wynns hydraulic tappets but that was a load of crap! Didn't work and was a waste of money. I put this stuff in my land rover about a week-2 weeks ago.... it had to take a few days to circle around with the oil which I gave benefit of the doubt. It has worked magic my car is now purring no more ticking no more crap. Amazing I'm so happy with this... thank you so much for being better than that wynns crap!
