Small!
I should have checked the dimensions! It is small, and the concave nest is probably big enough for 3 eggs. Fortunately, my budgies are fairly petite, so they can get in and out. The design is quite good, with the top opening, but the birds have already removed quite a bit of the top layer of lamination. Extremely well made. I bought it for my budgies and it was a lot larger than anticipated - a positive. It was nicely designed both being aesthetically pleasing and functional. This nest is smaller then the ones I've privously used, but does the job all the same. Because of the small size I was able to put it inside the cages. I wouldn't recommend these nest for exibition size budgies though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Birds moved in within 5 minutes.
These are well made boxes. I put two of the three I ordered up and within 5 minutes one was occupied, and the other was being viewed. I've ordered 3 more to put up when I get my aviary extension finished. The build quality is very good and the birds seem to love them too. I'm looking forward to the sound of baby budgies in the near future.
