Solid machine
This is a great serger. Built to last and runs smooth as butter. The computerized screen guides you through what you need to know to set up stitches quickly. I recommend watching the manufacturer's video (available on YouTube) and referencing it if you get stuck during the threading process. That said, I didn't think it was as hard to thread as some reviews cautioned. I have not tried to convert it to coverstitch yet, but it seams clear enough. The only possible "negative" I can think of is that sometimes my hand hits the hot lightbulb (which is uncovered) during threading, but that's just something I'll try to keep away from. Good machine

This is not for a first time serger as a Corvette is not for a first time driver. It takes a minute to figure out all the wonderful stitches but is definitely worth it. Work horse
This machine is heavy duty and runs like a charm but is not for a beginner. Nice surprise
I have this exact machine that is close to 20 years old. I have really enjoyed it but it is worn out as I teach young girls to sew and they have all used it and enjoyed it.
