Doubt replaced with amazement!
Automatic transmission judder problem addressed for less than £30. I thought it was worth a try after reading customer feedback but you don't expect miracles. So far, the transmission is vastly smoother on gentle acceleration. The problem was much less when driven hard but slight uphill load would set it off. It's now much smoother. After a couple of hundred miles it has got better still. It may only buy time before repairs are needed but other users report long lasting effect in the same vehicle as mine, a Range Rover Sport TDV8. Does what it says on the tube!
I was sceptical that this would help, but thought it may be worth a try as my truck has done 230k miles and the torque converter is definitely slipping, this stuff has reduced the slipping and shuddering considerably. It obviously cannot replace worn materials/components, but as a stop gap is excellent, lasts for about 6 months, just used a second batch, but will have to get the torque converter done this year,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A money saving remedy to the dreaded SHUDDER.
Right folks, I understand it is not a permanent repair to the dreaded Freelander 2 TQ SHUDDER, and may in time increase further wear, due to the plates slipping, but what a relief to get rid of that Shudder at 1500 revs for now. Who knows it may cure it for good, the vehicle is not mistreated, so with a bit of luck it will go on for many more miles. I purchased two and used just one, did the job within 20 miles. After a couple hundred miles it slowly got worse again. I put 2 tubes of this in and it took it away 100% no judder. Smooth gears. And even smoothed out the gearbox when coming to a complete stop. Tranny lube....
Not quite the first thing that comes to mind as it were, but believe me, if you own a disco 3/4 you need this in your tool kit. Go straight into the cooler not the pipe as it takes forever down the pipe, get a syringe and pump it straight in. No fuss, nothing complicated, do the jubilee clip back up on the cooler pipe, and within 1/2mile of driving, ALL hesitation/shudder/rough changes are gone. Considering a new torque converter is the the ££££’s this stuff is superb. I’m on my 3rd tube, 155k Miles, each one is lasting about 12k before symptoms creep back. Discovery 3 with 130k miles and light juddering under load / acceleration. Used one tube and now much better. Slowly poured it in through the top hose that goes to the cooler at front of engine bay (after sucking out some oil first). Brilliant product
Had a bad judder on my disco 3 autobox it was slow to pick up and judder was getting worse. As you were driving the rev counter was bouncing and I was fearing the worse . Two tubes of this and an oil change cured it instantly. It's better to pick up through the gears ,it changes gears less and the judder has gone ,it drives smoother and is a quieter drive .
