A bit too real, but not.
I can actually do damage with this (Tried on a soda can and Styrofoam, the can took effort but it sunk into the Styro), When the prop in show is shown to be kinda rubbery I really was expecting that sort of bendable rubber type safety material like the Hidden Blade toys. Something not obvious, but in the pics on inspection, , the spelled out Anagram is a bit off, instead of saying "Special Arms Against Unidentified Slimy Octopus" It says "SpeoalArmsAgawsUnidennfiedSumyOctopus" For the price I paid and the distance it travelled it's good value....Though i'll probably use it to make a mold to craft my own then lose this one in a closet somewhere (Again, in the show the blade bends almost 180 on itself and this dosen't), this is a prop i'd be afraid of being confused for a real weapon, despite the paintjob. I wouldn't use this as a cosplay piece but perhaps instead as a decorative, or if i wanted to get/make a sheath to holster it for cosplay.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
