  • Glastonbury Re-visited

Unfortunately I missed Glastonbury 1971, If I had known about it as a 20 year old ex art student I would have definitely gone. So the next best thing is the film by Nicholas Roeg. It's a great record of the event and most of the acts that appeared. Though sadly David Bowie was not filmed as he came on about 4 in the morning and it is said that the camera men were asleep. If you want to see what the early Glastonbury Festival was like I highly recommend this film. It's full of great shots of the festival goers and performers and the music ain't half bad although a bit dated now.
