Radio
I have used this radio in a DIY setting but it has been used while I have been brick laying, laying a drive etc but cleaned and used .in the house as well. The plastics seem to be of good quality and has withstood a fall off a shed roof onto slabs without cracking or breaking. I wipe it down at the end of the day with microfibre cloth and with car dashboard spray when I remember and still looks good. The display and buttons are lasting well even with gloves hands and cement on them. I typically use the 1.3amp/hr battery which seems to give a days worth of use. It doesn't really give you any indication of battery life apart from a small symbol on the LCD screen. Once on I don't look at the screen until the radio has gone off. So not really much use. It only has FM and AM radio as a DAB listener this isn't great but DAB popularity seems more in the UK than elsewhere. But blue tooth works well and negates DAB if you've got a smart phone. Works well with android and apple doesn't loose signal and connects easily. Has bass and treble settings and works well. Quite often use it as a speaker in the house or garden. More than good enough for that...not BOSE standard but still more than good enough. It does have a USB port for charging only. Which works fine for topping up. Also an auxiliary Jack too. I have other tools in the Ryobi range so it made sense to buy this....not another manufacturers version. It is slightly cheaper than others not quite as Tonka toy looking but in keeping with the other tools within the Ryobi range. Overall very pleased with it and the fact there is no lead to plug in and good battery life from the smallest battery. Would recommend it, no brainer if you've got the Ryobi tools already.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great Radio, shame it's lacking DAB...
Great Radio with good volume for when working outside. Bluetooth connection is fantastic with a great range. Shame it can't be used to charge battery's if it had a 240v supply, and the lack of digital radio in this day and age is shocking.
