    To use this recorder at minimum requires a 16GB USB 3,0 formatted to NTFS , it also requires a second ariel to be able to use both tuners, which will allow you to watch one program while recording another channel.

    A free-view recorder that works

    We have had two free-view recorders previously - this one works in a very similar way and is very good value, especially since we were offered a reconditioned item. Just remember - you need a USB 3 stick and need to practice with the EPG - although we managed to record programs after an hour's fiddling!
