A nice keep-sake for a great band
It was with a sad heart I learned of the tragic deaths of the band and their manager. When I saw that their Vinyl release was still available and had not been 'pulled', I had no hesitation in buying the album. Awesomely talented band...
I awaited this short Album, I must say it was well worth the wait! My six year old daughter loves it, which makes a refreshing change, from Justin Bieber and Little Mix! These boys were all super talented, such a tragic circumstance of release. There legacy will live on through their music, great that they reached No 1, such a tragedy that they never knew how good they really were! They could have gone far
A samey melody throughout but Coldplay sold me on Viola Beach by performing Boys That Sing at Glastonbury in 2016. Such promise, taken far too quickly. The four-piece - Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin - died with their manager Craig Tarry in February when their car plunged more than 80ft into a canal in Sodertalje, Sweden. Martin said: "We're on tour right now, and normally what we do at this point in our concert is play Heroes by David Bowie, and it's great - the song, not the version. "But what we're going to do tonight is something a little different ... this year in the beginning of the year, maybe you read about a beautiful young band called Viola Beach, a band that just got signed and were on their first tour of the world and were in a tragic accident and they got taken away and we as a band thought that was just the worst.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The more you listen....the more you will love the soulful voices and what the future could have been...
I bought this Indie Rock CD because of the tragic loss of Viola Beach and because it had made it to no.1 in the albums chart. I thought that perhaps it was the loss of the group that had helped it to no.1. Those thought's left me as soon as I played the CD in my car on my way to work. I keep on playing it because some tracks are soulful and some are upbeat, such amazing singing and the rhythm of the guitar playing is a joy, full of the sounds of the Summer, the more you listen the better it gets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
