Without disclosing too much of the plot, I consider this DVD to be a masterpiece. In my opinion the best piece of British television in years, The storyline is gripping with numerous twists & turns. Martin Shaw as George Gently is brilliant. This is Shaw's best performance to date. The statement contained within the story is a brave condemnation of todays political workings. The George Gently series is excellent. I bought this DVD to complete the set. The episodes on it look like they might be sad so I haven’t watched it yet.
