Gently Entertaining
It's great to catch up with Gently and Bacchus as they approach the next decade in this entertaining crime series. Attitudes were certainly different, the odd clip round the ear for a recalcitrant villain seemingly perfectly acceptable! Brilliantly acted by the whole cast and the sense of period is captured perfectly. The extra content is an added bonus. Such a shame that there will only be two more made before we wave Gently goodbye.
