    Great film, one to watch

    If you enjoy period drama then this is one to watch. The 'love' story between the Virgin Queen and "her" Robby is a heart felt and sad story , full of powerful attraction, constraint, longing and pain. The story tells how the Queen gave up having a truly joyous private life in favour of her country and during her life thought she was happy with that desicion however by the end of the film after losing what was most dear to her she is saddened by her choices that have left her childless and alone. Untrustworthy people intervene throughout her reign and influence her in ways that are not always beneficial to her , based on a true story.
