Downbeat and offbeat. A unique film. Perhaps Groundbreaking ?...... Joachim Phoenix is terrific as a tragic misunderstood unstable loner who can't stop laughing. A psychiatric case out for revenge. Phoenix makes him so painful and disturbing A great performance
