Carriage Free to England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland & Isle of Wight. EQ1 Equatorial Mount. Red Dot Finder. Magnifications (with optics supplied): x40, x80, x100, x200.
Amazing telescope for the price but finding objects and setting up need care.
I was amazed at the price this firm was selling this telescope for. My local camera shop wanted £150 plus. It took some two hours and two errors to set up, despite a good instruction booklet.
Aligning the sturdy EQ2 mount takes time as well, which has not been helped by light cloudy nights recently. I am almost there now but the red dot finder would be better if it magnified. The only fault with this set up. I find it easier to start with a very low magnification get the planet in my sights and then switch to the higher magnification. I have added some Barlow lenses and filters to make it even better and may consider a new spotter attachment. However, for the price the stand and quality of the scope and lenses is very good.
