MacBook Pro 13” M1 model - another good machine from Apple
Everything you would expect from Apple. Solid build quality, fantastic bright screen with high resolution, long battery life, ultra quick processor including SSD and memory performance. Keyboard is very comfortable with perfect key travel for a quality typing experience. Track Pad is also excellent and a great size. Touch Bar is useful for some applications but not a significant reason to buy this model. Laptop is extremely quiet with fans only kicking in when absolutely required. Fully capable of also running Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word and PowerPoint if required. Only a couple of thunderbolt ports on the left hand side of the machine but enough for most people unless you have lots of peripherals to connect. Headphone socket on the right hand side of the machine. Laptop stays pretty cool under normal use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Crazy Mary Poppins type Trickery.
When I first saw apple were switching chips I thought that would be the end of me buying an apple laptop again. I’ve traditionally and nearly always gone boot camp or parallels for some things. Then I read a few reviews around battery life and performance, and started coming round to the idea. Since M1, there seems recently to be a lot more apps that I used under boot camp that are available to run natively on the M1. Ultimately that’s what made me look into one. The battery life is absolutely insane, to top that the performance is mind boggling. I played a game on this for a few hours, frame rate and gfx admittedly not at max but still a decent experience, the i5 macbook chokes, fans high and don’t even think about doing it off ac. The M1 breezes, on battery - no heat - no drama and strangely hardly any battery draw. I charge once every 3/4 days now as apposed to once a day with i5. I use it more than the i5. I am happy to find a very competitive pricing by alondonp. My new MBP 2020 M1 (with 1 year Apple Warranty) was the cheapest on ebay. The machine itself is ok, a lot of bug though. I find it to be jittery at times. Restarting seems to resolve the issue. Hopefully future MacOS update will remove most of the bug. Overall, it is a good word processor, web browser and social media machine. My only complaint is it doesn't support middle mouse button click natively.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
