A great first 'proper' drone
If you want your first proper drone, then look no further than this. I am wanting to shoot video, so the fact that this camera is capable of shooting in 4k at 60fps was a must. The Mavic Pro 2 only does 30fps and that makes the video less smooth. This drone flies at just over 40mph, in sport mode and for filming cars moving at speed is a great feature. I have yet to try and get some good photos, but the couple I have tried were spot on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome drone
Fantastic drone for the price, new or second hand. Very easy to use, definitely worth checking out the vast array of user videos on social media to get the most out of the MA2. So many things to explore with the great photography features of this drone. You will by Law need to register with the CAA and take the A2 UAV license test if you want to stay within the parameters of the new rules. Personal opinion, I much prefer this Air 2 to the mini 2. Great Value Drone
Replacing my Yuneec Q500 Typhoon, which is starting to show it's age. The Air 2 is ultra stable and very easy to fly. Great piece of engineering and the combo is the way to go for the extra batteries and ND filters. I bought a separate hard case to protect my investment and it is crazy small compared to my old drone. Make sure when taking quickshots that you have plenty of obstacle free space and be ready to initiate a climb as I discovered the orbit can enlarge quite quickly in Normal Mode (the full user manual does warn about this). Super-impressed with Return To Home landing accuracy and the image on the phone. It's early days with taking video but I have no doubt it will produce some stunning shots. A very good drone - even by DJI's standards.
Being made by DJI it is pretty easy to use and its Menu settings are similar across the range. This one seems more responsive than the Mavic Pro 2 (or Zoom) and the battery seems to last longer than on other models. I have an Enterprise Zoom and a Pro 2 but at the moment all of my flying is on the Mavic Air 2. Very happy with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
