Why did we not buy this sooner.
We made the drastic mistake of buying a similar cordless vac from another manufacturer, after 6 months it was useless. We then bought the Dyson V8 Animal. OMG what a machine, With all the attachments. The hair didn’t keep getting stuck around the roller. The suction is unbelievable and the carpets are cleaned as though it’s an upright. East to use
Great machine, so easy to use and keep in top condition. Fixed to wall with included fixture, could do with some sort of attachment to store all the included tools. Bought for a Christmas present for someone. Recipient delighted with the cleaner. Lightweight, easy to charge, simple to add/remove tools, Picks up and cleans amazingly on both floors and carpets. Added bonus - filters are easy to take out and are washable. We read all the reviews before buying which were highly rated. Lightweight and easy to use anywnere.
Lighter than an ordinary upright together with the attachments makes it much easier to vacuum hard to reach places above my head. Vacuuming the mattress on my bed used to be difficult with having to lift up the upright but that doesn't apply here, so much easier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So much better than the old version
We got this because our old DC44 started to have issues with both the battery and charger and we had used it to death. Oh my god. The kids fight over who will use it and the amount of dust it pulled from our floors you’d think we never vacuumed before.
