Easy to use saw
Good quality as you’d expect from Makita. It feels robust but not too heavy. I’ve used it while up a 12 foot ladder and it was easy to handle. Good saw for the money for weekly use.
Generally a good saw for the money but don’t expect anything from the free blades as they are made of chocolate. My only concern is the blade holder as it’s possibly a bit fragile but time will tell. Another point on the holder is that it often ends up in rather than out when I want to change blades and you can’t twist it when the arm is in so you press the trigger a couple of times to get it to stop in the out position to enable blade change. A mild annoyance but for the money (having had a couple of reciprocators over the years) I find this a good saw for the price for general use a few times a week.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I buy Makita or DeWalt and generally the more expensive versions. I took what I considered a risk on buying the more economic version of Makita's reciprocating saw. Quality tool from makita
