overpriced and should be unnecessary.
I gave this a 3 star simply because it does what it is meant to do. BUT, it shouldn't be necessary to fork out £50 on this brick just to add an external mic. Ridiculous profiteering from GoPro and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Also, I needed to buy extra cables on top of this due to the type of gimbal I use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

GoPro rip off
Gopro are just ripping people off with these connectors. The 5 Black audio is so bad that you have to use an external mic, this means having to purchase another gizmo from Gopro. If you can find a Gopro mic adapter for the Gopro 5 or 6 for less than 60 quid you are lucky! The adapter for the Gopro 1 through to 4 won't fit so don't even try it. The cost leaves you smarting
Whilst is does the job, this product is massively over priced but as there is no alternative you are left with no choice if you want to run an external mic to your GoPro.
