Excellent easy option to fit a DAB radio
Excellent DAB adapter car radio. Everything comes in the box that you'll need to fit. Just follow the instructions - very easy. The reception is excellent with only the occasional drop-out in remote areas. I am surprised how good the windscreen aerial has been. Keep the outside of your windscreen clean though! I have connected direct through the AUX socket. I have fitted it low down in a recess so not reading the display which does look small. But if you are buying this brand new at a bargain price, you really won't be disappointed.

Good but could be better
Although it works fine 70% of the time it loses signal a lot. Now I live in a city I’ve checked coverage of all DAB stations I like and all are 99.9% coverage mainly kiss and free radio and smooth from time to time. It can go from full signal to 0 in a blink of an eye. And won’t get signal again for a good 5 mins if not longer. Just the other day I was sat on the motorway in stand still traffic for well over 20 mins. 1 moment full signal. (I hadn’t moved an inch) then 0 signal. And it stayed like that for 10 mins maybe mine is faulty but it’s a real pain in the arse more so while singing along to your favourite trackVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent unit and an exceptional price
This really is a very good DAB add on unit. I've had a few different ones over the years with both windscreen and roof mount aerials. This one performs pretty well using the included windscreen mount aerial, but would benefit from a roof mounted aerial, especially in poor signal areas. That being said the included aerial performs very well considering its limitations. The main issue I have with this unit is the sound quality when using the FM transmitter, it's a little tinny, and there is some interference. However at the price point it's unbeatable and using the included aux cable with a compatible head unit would solve the problem. To sum up, I would definitely recommend this unit the interface is easy to use and it was simple to install and setup.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good dab alternative
Got everything out the box. Followed the instructions to a tee, fitting the ariel and receiver. All tuned in great on my drive. Within 5 minutes of driving, I got problems receiving some stations and lost some completely. Was going return the item, but thought I'd try an external ariel instead of the silly internal stick on the window rubbish that comes with it. Got and external magnetic for less than £10 and after driving round two weeks. It's perfect, working great and receiving lots of stations. Mechanical good, radio reception below average for DAB radios.
The built quality seems to be good and for car use, the monochrome screen is ok. It does not detailed graphics and broadcast information. The radio fall out more, compare to all other dab-radio I have used. Other electronics like my dash board cam, create radio noise and I have to turn of dash cam to use this radio. Even then, it is not always happy. But I live with it, and it seems to survive kids and bags moving in the car. This is dab adapter number four from ebay, and the previous had better reception, but fall apart due to snagging usb-power cables etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good for the price.
This works well & gives good quality sound when connected to the car "aux" input as they recommend (same applies for any DAB adaptor). Reception of weaker signals isn't as good as a built-in DAB radio, but OK. Occasionally the presets stop responding when it's trying to reconnect with a station, but turning the knob instead works. Good gadget.
This is a decent quality cheap digital receiver and works well. I made up my own earth strap for the aerial since I didn't trust the magnetic strap to earth properly given that the inside of a car roof is painted. I recommend doing that if you can - it makes a difference, but obviously the magnetic earth strap is provided convenience and ease of installation. I also had to turn off AF on my car radio as it would tune into the DAB but not hold the frequency. That could well be the specific model of radio I have though - so could be a one-off issue. I took the time to run all the cables behind the dash panels so it's a very neat installation. Occasionally there is a little interference as I'm using the FM transmitter rather than (supplied) jack cable - as my radio does not have an aux socket. Worth the money
Thought at the price it would be average quality but pleasantly surprised, nicely made and everything you need is in the box. In my local area it needs an external antenna to get the most out of it but further afield the windscreen antenna works well. Good but aerial useless
I like the product easy to use but unfortunately the aerial supplied is rubbish it's like 2 wires, it doesn't work if more than 1 person in car and loses station due to poor reception so purchasing new better aerial (pic below) see if it works better

Not as good as you think it's going to be.
read the description cearfull and found this product would link to my car radio though the FM frequently. When I received the product I found Nextbase recommend using the oux cord to link the two. Very disappointed by this and this was not what I had wanted. Also found it hard to read the gray and black screen, it is described in the ad as " clear screen".
